Promoting Cybersecurity and Helping the Vulnerable Stay Safe Online

Digital technology brings opportunity, convenience, and connection, but also new risks. PHISH helps elderly citizens and their caregivers learn how to recognize phishing, avoid online scams, and use the internet safely. Through simple learning tools and community engagement, we support a safer digital environment for everyone.

PROJECT DETAILS

1. Elderly Citizens

Older adults who use or are beginning to use digital services for banking, communication, healthcare, or online shopping. This group benefits directly from PHISH training materials designed to increase awareness, confidence, and protection against phishing and online fraud.

2. Caregivers & family members

Relatives, friends, and informal caregivers who support elderly individuals in performing online tasks. By understanding digital risks and safe practices, caregivers help reinforce secure behaviors at home and ensure long-term digital resilience.

3. Adult Educators & Trainers

Professionals who deliver non-formal or community education to adults and seniors. PHISH provides them with accessible training content, teaching materials, and awareness tools that can be integrated into workshops, courses, or community activities.
